Its though that Austin left because of a few different reasons. Firstly,he was scheduled to lose a match against Brock Lessnar on Raw and he disagreed as there was no build up to the fight and he didn't see the point in putting Brock over so he didn't turn up to the show, pissing McMahon off big time. Secondly he had just been through some legal issues with his Ex-wife Debera and the stress of that compounded with the direction he saw his character going didn't help matters and thirdly he had a heart attack scare just before a big fight at Wrestlmania and due to this his health and fitness were in doubt and heavily affected. So in answer to your question,no,sadly the though est S.O.B has hung up his boots.

Stone Cold is acting in WWE's latest film, The Condemned, due out sometime in April I think. According to sources, Austin will be returning to WWE in February to promote the film in the ring as well as have a major storyline for WrestleMania 23. There have been rumors of a Stone Cold vs John Cena match at WrestleMania but Austin doesnt seem to be keen on wrestling again. He wants a heavy storyline, though. Hope this answers your question.

Unfortunately not.Stone cold never fully recovered from the neck injury he got at the hands of Owen Hart at Summerslam 1997.He was forced to retire from wrestling altogether in 2003 although his last appearance was as "special referee" on Raw in Dec.2003.His contract with WWE has long since expired.
He's meant to be one of the inductees into the Hall of Fame at the forthcoming W/Mania 23.
He's gone the same way as The Rock & is now into acting. He's made 3 films: The Longest Yard, Tales of Rat Fink & The Condemned.
It's a real shame tho.He was my fave WWE Superstar of the whole "attitude" era.

I do not think so, his career is long gone...unless maybe he somehow will show up and that would be great. I do miss stone cold, it might have been a little more exciting with him around. And what happened to The Rock? hes making movies, but his roles arent very great, he should of stayed in wrestling.

I've read that stone cold will be returning to Raw in February to help promote his movie The Condemned. But I've also read that you shouldn't expect him to wrestle.

He was supposed to have a match with firstly Hogan and then JBL but neither happened because Austin said he'd F'N kill Hogan if he came within 10 feet of him because of the whole WCW thing, and the JBL match won't happen because JBL has retired from active competition.

He'll be popping up when it comes time to promote his new movie, but he likely won't wrestle. He'll come on, do some promos, drink beer, stun some people (like his appearance on the new Sat Night's Main Event).

No we won't unless it's something worthwhile for him to do. they are trying to get him to wrestle Hulk Hogan but i'm sure he won't put over Hogan like Shawn Michaels and Randy Orton have done
