so i bought the dvd for THE DESCENT and then in the end Sarah, the main character is trapped in the cave with the monsters. It looks like shes pretty much screwed, but i guess she already checked out because she didnt bring her crazy pills with her. It an okay ending because she does sort of find a happy place in her head with her daughter but in physical means, shes going to kick the bucket. What do you think?

I thought The Descent was one of the better horror movies I've seen in the past few years. I literally jumped the first time one of those "creatures" appeared behind one of the girls. And when Juno ended up stabbing her friend...that was one of the best plot twists in a long time. Lesson to take from that...don't sneak up on someone who is fighting a flesh-eating monster.
Anyway, the ending was so good! I expected that Sarah would kill Juno, but to only wound her so the creatures would get her...that was good. My interpretation of the ending was that the experience had left her so mentally and emotionally drained that she retreated into a "happy place" in her head and she probably died of starvation. Although, it is possible she could have become like those creatures who adapted to living underground. Either way, she probably never got out of there. Another lesson learned...don't go down into dark caverns!

that movie sucked. i would rather catch lawn darts in my lap then watch that movie again.
