I assume it is dripping, not burning, so check three things! The valve cover gasket. Tighten the bolts

The oil filter/ see if it is seated properly.

The oil pan gasket, including the oil drain plug gasket.

Anything else will be really hard to fix, and very expensive.

Its a ford. All fords leak oil. But seriously, check all of the gaskets, oilpan, oil filter, valve covers, etc. Also check to be sure that the oil pan drain plug is tightened up.

Plugged Positive Crankcase Ventilation emissions system can make a crank case oil leak worse because pressure builds up in the crankcase. Check PCV valve, hoses, passage ways etc.

First things first.

Spray some engine degreaser on a cold engine and clean out all the gunk.

Try to find the location of the leak and then narrow down the cause.

loose oil plug, bad oil plug gasket, bad rear main seal, bad crankshaft seal, loose oil filter housing, bad oil cooler lines, bad oil pan , bad oil pan gasket

If it is the diesel there has been a recall for the rear main seals.
