why Augusto Pinochet, the dictator of Chile, who with the help of CIA, toppled the democratically elected government of Allende ,ruthlessly killed thousands of people during his rule and plundered the wealth of his country and deposited the money in foreign banks not punished by the self styled protectors of democracy? why the military junta of Myanmar , Pakistan, which deny civil rights to their opposition leaders are not punished by the world's super cop the us? why Saddam Hussein, who was once blue eyed boy of the us was assassinated brutally,? why the forces of the us and its allies not with drawn from Iraq when they could not find out any weapons of mass destruction?

the answer lies in your question.Saddam was tool and the hand was the USA.when Saddam invaded war against Iran and suppressed communists, he was given arms and ammunition by the us.when he began to defy the orders of the USA, all of a sudden , he became a tyrant, the us invaded Iraq and made it hot bed for Islamic terrorists and more than 6,00,000 Iraqis died after it was invaded by the us and its allies. the trial was a travesty of Justice. IT WAS CIA, WHICH HELPED OS AMA BIN LAD DEN TO TOPPLE THE GOVERNMENT IN AFGHANISTAN ,WHICH WAS BACKED BY THE SOVIETS.FOR YOUR QUESTION WHY TROOPS NOT DISPATCHED TO MYANMAR IS THERE IS NOTHING IN THAT COUNTRY TO LOOT.AND THE DICTATORS OF THOSE TWO COUNTRIES HAVE NOT ANTAGONIZED THE US.it is an irony that the HAND PUNISHED THE TOOL

Why is the sky blue pal. Misery keeps going all over the globe and it seems it won't end until we do. But, Saddam wasn't brutally assassinated, he was executed by court order. Personally I wish we had left Iraq as soon as he was caught. We have lost far too many of our people trying to give the Iraqis something they didn't apparently want and obviously don't deserve...democracy.

First, Saddam was not brutally assassinated. They should have put his head on a pole in the town square.
Second its hard to find MWD's when they were given to North Korea to use at a later date.
I didn't know the US was the super cop, maybe if the UN would do their damn jobs...

If you know anything about the world and Saddam, you would realize that he is probably the 3rd most vicious and brutal leader in the past 100 years. Right behind Hitler and Pol Pot. Do a little research you will be horrified.
