Brainwashed american sheep do as they are told by the media and driven by greed in this consumer fascist lifestyle called the USA. Too busy to care and too obsessed with themselves to fight for anything important. Its sad.

The main body of voters is the middle class citizen, who unfortunately, bought into the instant gratification lifestyle promoted by consumerism. As a result they are so busy making all their payments and mortgages that they don't have time to take off and protest the injustice of the taxation system. I've heard so many workers asking for more hours just to get by. Instead they should be lobbying for lower taxes.

Because many people wouldn't know the bill of rights from a cable bill! It's hardly being taught any more in schools. There was a time when people would routinely question the nature of governments and their relationship to the very people they are supposed to serve. Now, that hardly happens - we (in the US, but it's similar everywhere) are stuck in a 2 party paradigm that no longer works. People, for whatever reason, are afraid to look outside the box and question their governments actions.WAKE UP SHEEPLE - the gov is supposed to serve you, not the other way around.

To fight the government you need a lawyer. to get a lawyer you need money---lots of money. The government has a way of stretching things out for years, which is why it costs so much money. Rarely can one person afford the attorney's fees and it is difficult to get a group of people together to support a single cause like this. It can be done through forming a non-profit corporation, but that take IRS approval, and it is very hard to get approval for a non-profit political organization.

No one fights their given rights anymore. America was strong at the time these rights were made into our lifes. America will not fall from an outside invasion but rather from inside itself. Keep up with news and you will see America is deteriorating fast. The goverment we have in place at all levels is full of corruption. So therefore we will not stand long.

because Americans have become so fat and lazy and complacent they don't know they have lost any constitutional rights, and they have lost their nerve and are nothing but a bunch of lazy no good cowardly idiots,or they would be like our forefathers and take up arms against our gov, and politicians, voting them out is not good enough, the politicians who have sold out our country should be either shot or hung, I would say give them the choice,

American people are lazy by nature. They have trouble getting up in the morning and you are expecting them to fight their mighty government? You keep fighting and if you win let us know we will come to congratulate you.
