Go to your add/remove programs from your control panel then highlight Internet Explorer 7 and click on remove.
If you get a pop-up saying that the following programs wont work if you continue take note of them. This can happen if you installed a program or other updates after installing the new version of IE. From here the best thing to do would be to cancel the IE uninstall and remove the listed items from top to bottom. After you have removed them you can then safely remove the new version of IE.
Make sure you go back up to the web and check for updates and always use the "custom" rather than the "Express" option so you can see what is being updated. If IE 7 is listed again just uncheck it and continue with the other updates.
Hope this helped.

Follow these steps:
Click Start
Click Settings
Click Control Panel
Click Add/remove programs
check the box that says "show updates"(up on the right corner of the programs box)
Scroll down to Internet Explorer 7
Click remove
this will restore you to the previous Internet explorer version you were using.

Go to your control panel and click on Add/Remove programs. Scroll down to IE7 and uninstall it. The computer will automatically revert back to IE6 after IE7 is successfully uninstalled.

you can remove it easily; go to control panel, pick the removal icon, find it and remove it. One of my friends hated it as you did, but we did remove it quickly. If you can't remove it by doing that, that means that your windows is not healthy.
