I don't have a college degree or security clearance and I live in Montgomery Co. (I don't know if that matters or not), but want to know how I get my foot in the door to get a good local Government job, any info I can get would be great! :)

call city hall... start asking questions.
it is that easy.. if they don't help you, online, google it.. get ahold of the city/county sites and search around for 'opportunities, city, county government'
so on.. that's a good head start... don't worry about looking dumb.. no question/query is dumb.
they'll help you.. or give you information online or there at the offices.
