yes. one of my friends was freaking built in 7th grade. dunno what he did, but he was the strongest guy at our middle school except one thing, he is really short. Might have been from lifting so much? Sophomore year now, and he looks the same. so i dont know what affects it might have.

Yes a 13 year old can build up muscles. It's just how you do it. For someone to see results you need to have a proper diet. By diet I mean to get enough calories, fat, protein, carbs., and water! Also work each muscle to muscular failure. That's 5-7 reps. and that means the load should be easy enough to get 5 reps and heavy enough you can't complete 7. To get the calories you need multiply your weight by 17. To get enough fat multiply the number you got for calories by 0.25. To get enough carbs. multiply the calories by 0.35. For protein multiply your calories by 0.40. Now you should get an intake of about 2 liters of water per day. If you have any ?'s e-mail me :-)

working out has positive results, but at youre age it can cause growth plates to fuse quicker than they would without working out because of how much strain is being put on the bone and muscle. Most athletes don't recomment working out heavily until about age 15-16. Light lifting and cardio is fine for someone your age though.

Yes.
Get a weightlifting book.
You will need a friend to work out with for safety.
Some people never get a 6 pack others do.
