Saddam Hussein is one of the world's most condemned sinners. But that does not change the fact that he is also a human being like us.

I am against the death penalty... hanging, lethal injection, electric chair.... these are barbaric ways of committing murder. As human beings, we do not have the right to decide on the life or death of another individual.

Saddam should have been imprisoned for life. There could have been benefits to it. He holds many secrets and we should have kept him alive in order to understand what happened. Sure, life in jail cannot even compare to the ways he torturned and killled masses of people.

But who are we to decide his death? I believe in God and karma. On judgement day, God will decide his just punishment... and I believe that will be a terrible punishment indeed.

It is all about oil. You do not see us invading Cuba or North Korea. I never woke up in the morning feeling threatened by Iraq or Saddam. WMD is a farce. Just an excuse to line the pockets of some oil barrons from Texas. And Saddam definitely had better control over the Iraqi's then we ever will.

this would be a no-win subject somewhat. Make him a martyr then the lunatics in Iraq will use it as an excuse to bomb greater harmless civilians to boot as US and British militia workers. as though they at the instant are not dealing with to reason adequate loss of life and destruction as this is! positioned him in reformatory and there will be greater hostage-taking and beheadings in a futile attempt to have him released. i'm not in favour of state-sanctioned assassination yet whilst that they had have killed him off the 1st time around back interior the early Eighteen Nineties issues would have been a lot greater advantageous all around.

I think it was wrong. For thousands of reasons that would take a whole book to explain but mostly, because no one has the right to take a mans life.I know he killed many people, but he was a dictator (and a jerk).By acting the way he did-by continuing the killings- what does that make us?The best thing to do was to let him rot in prison but hey...that's just me.

Not having seen him in his skivvies, I can't say for sure whether he was or wasn't hung. He was, however, hanged, and that was a pretty good day for the world.
