It would be a lot nicer if the Saints won. California's had their share of Super Bowl titles. I'd like to see Louisiana grab one. There are plenty of guys out there who "deserved" a Super Bowl win but never got one. Guys like Dan Marino, Barry Sanders, and Archie Manning were Super Bowl-caliber players but never had enough of a team around them to win the big game or in Manning and Sanders' cases, even make it to the big game. Also, LT isn't a sentimental favorite of the NFL like Jerome Bettis was when he finally got a ring.

LT? You mean #56? He doesn't play anymore if you mean the real LT.
Tomlinson is great - but even he said he doesn't want to be called LT because LT was LT. It's like another band coming along and saying "We are the Beatles."
No, the Beatles are half dead and broke uplike 40 years ago. You might be a great band, but you are not the Beatles.
Don't disrespect the real LT.

Not really because LT, is young and has many more seasons to come and win a superbowl, but I think that it would be better for aging pros like Steve McNair to get the win in the superbowl because it might be his last.

wouldnt it be nice if peyton manning won a super bowl? it is the same question. you can say the same question for alot of stand up nfl players this year that it would be great for them to win the superbowl, but they probably won't
but LT's talent does merit hiim a superbowl win

No.
I like LT, but it's not like he's going to retire, or has eluded a superbowl for a long career or anything.
I dont see where he deserves a superbowl more than anyone else in the playoffs (not counting TO, who doesnt deserve a thing)

LT is retired. He won two Super Bowls. You must be talking about BLT (Baby LT), who is great but hasn't been aroud long enough to be saying he "deserves" a ring...
Elway desrved it. Tiki Barber desreves it. Walter Payton deserved it. BLT will deserve it someday if he keeps going strong.

Maybe someday it would but this year I would like to see the Ravens do it or the Colts. Tomlinson has a whole career ahead of him and a lot of Brown's records still to challenge.
