FYI cold sores, fever blisters, ect are all forms of herpes. They are not the exact same virus that cause genital herpes but they are all related.

cold sores IS herpes!! No matter what you say they are...unless a dr has told you that they are something else...then they are herpes!!!!! and yes if you have an outbreak and even if you don't have an outbreak you CAN give him herpes.

Cold sores are from the Herpes virus. Hate to tell you, but yes, if you have one and you give oral to someone you most certainly can pass it virus on to your partner. It's the same virus!
