Not that I care how he felt, but I expect he had some regrets, he should have felt lucky, why? because he was left to suffer for the rest of his life and he had the easy way out

I realize that empathy is a trait we should all strive to enhance but in this case I just cannot find any. I do not want to climb into the psych of a madman and see what makes him tick. To do so is to risk infecting yourself with the disease without any of the benifits of a possible cure to the ailment. Some part of him must have been at least normal enough to be both elated at the freedom death offers and outraged by the theft of the hope life offers all of us. I don't care which he may have felt most, I liken it to the dog that has rabies, you don't blame the dog, but you must put it down.

no matter what the world think of him, he died like a real man. i think he showed courage, where anyone could have broken down completely. He was very much aware this was the end and nothing, if not GOD, was going to get him out this situation. He prayed and died like a muslim, declaring his faith in God and his messenger. now no one knows what happens after this, do we? if anything is out there, he is facing his god with his actions, good or bad, and he will certainly be judged.
dying is the fate for any human being, so no matter how and what we speculate about, we'll soon be confronting our own time of death, then we'll know how it feels.

72 virgins!? Good grief, they must have a virgin factory in heaven, I thought it was only 7. Saddam would have felt relieved, glad that all the hanging around was over.

Kicking screaming yelling they would of had to put me in a straight jacket and gaged me . I still would of been jerking my head around to make it hard to slip the rope around my neck .
