aline itself so I can take it out? I've misplaced my instructions, so don't suggest that. I've also tried hitting the color copy button, which is what the diagram inside the printer seems to suggest and that doesn't work either. Thanks a bunch.

Go to printer & faxes or (Control Panel & click on printer & Faxes) & click on Epson-properties-printing preferences-Maintenance and then click on Status Monitor which will show you how to change the ink.
