Now I'm not bashing anyone here. Can you tell me why you still approve of the Bush Administration and please back it up with some facts and reason.

There are many reasons why I and most of America don't support the Administration.

I would figure that just by the facts of this false war and that he authorized the violation of your 4th amendment rights through your phone lines would anger you. But why did it not anger you?

Your question is directed to Bush supporters, so vote one of the best answers from them to be fair. Here are my reasons for supporting Bush
1. UN inspectors were in Iraq searching weapons of .......... destruction ( I left out the word... because I know they were destroying weapon of ........ destruction according to the UN resolution)
2. The congress as a whole voted for the war not only Bush
3. The people of America were asked on a referendum (survey) and all of them were for war with Iraq (America) not Bush only
4. After Congress’s approval Bush gave Saddam an ultimatum to full fill so as to prevent the invasion/war (am I wrong?) and Saddam was to allow the UN resolution to proceed without impediment or blockage. If he had complied, war was not going to happen.... No? So the ball was in Saddam's court: just like in Afghan-Taliban where the condition was to hand over Osama to prevent invasion.
5. Bush made mistakes right by invading Iraq (though it was a consensus decision made by most American....lets not deny this it was the votes for war that counted not ---simply Bush's instructions)
6. Now lets learn to accept the mistakes we made as a nation not taking cover behind Bush when things are bad. We all had the same opinions ----even the UN was inspecting and searching for those weapons what ever they are called WMD or WLD (Weapons of Less Destruction).

I support the President just like I support our troops. I may not agree with everything that the president is doing - but that won't prevent me from being an American. I'm republican and I voted for Bush - still, I am against the Iraq war and think it was one of the worst things Bush could ever have done for America. If we dumped those hundreds of billions of dollars into alternative fuels or whatever - we wouldn't be in the situation we are now.

Regardless of this "false war" - most democratic leaders voted to go to war with Iraq (Hillary Clinton, John Kerry, to name a few). President Bush along with everyone else (democratic or republican) all voted to go to war with Iraq because we believed there were MWD there. So if anyone is to blame - it would be the CIA or whoever provided everyone with this misconception.

Still, I support the President - I support our troops and when the Democrats take the presidency in 2009 I will support them. I'm sick and tired of people acting like non-americans bashing our president. President Bush's goal is not to kill us all but instead try to do what is best for America. If effort was put into learning how much power the president really has - you'd be surprised at how little power they really have. If anyone is to blame for our problems - it is the republican congress and the administration that misled Bush and America...

IN my opion, it's not a false war. And I want you to think about this. What would have happened if John Kerry had been elected? Right in the middle of the war, he wouldn't have been able to get us out of it. I support Bush, and that's all I have to say.

I'm reading answers above that show me that there are people in here that don't understand the role of a citizen in a free democratic society and who would have fit right in with the citizens of Nazi Germany. My country, right or wrong, is the mantra of the scoundrel and the refuge of the easily led. Bush was not in the best interests of the country and if people still exist that believe he is, we are not doing our job to educate a rational population that is necessary to maintain our foundation of freedom.

Bush supporters have shown their true colors by continually defending this scum of a President. It has already been well established that he is unfit to lead. However, it doesn't stop the cowards that support him. They continue to be in denial instead of facing the reality of what as happened. That reality is that we have the worst President in the history of our country in office right now.

You elect your president and it is his responsibility to protect the nation. He has more reliable information about what's going on in the world and that's the best national interest. People like us read news papers and watch CNN and form opinions about many things and our opinions are essentially based upon how the information was presented to us. I don't like Bush as a person but I have a lot of faith in the political system of this country. You on the contrary seem to be brain washed and have lost any objectivity. Cheers.

Yeah you are right...
He should have just did nothing like the last administration. He should have just sat on his lazy ahrs the whole 8 yrs, instead of fighting terrorist and getting even for 9-11.
Funny how we haven't had any terrorist attacks on our land since huh? Funny how the last administration had several terrorist attacks on his watch. But he was too busy gettin his nut to keep our country safe.
Good thing we still have our first amendment right to insult our beloved president, huh?

Im in the same boat as alot of Bush's former supporters..I voted for him twice, but I simply cant believe what he has allowed now. I think he feels that he can do anything now because he doesnt face election again.

We could argue about the legality of the war in Iraq, and the phone wiretaps are *technically* legal..but overall, I have completely lost faith in him. That shows in his approval ratings. The only people left supporting him completely are die-hard republicans.

Your statement right there said it all. I think you are wrong and I disagree with you. I think you have allowed the media to do your thinking to point of losing all prospective and have lost your common sense and reasoning powers.
