This is why we need re-education camps for politically disturbed children. I am not for steering children towards the NBA, but certainly this is a much better choice than holding up GW as a role model.

This is a BIG problem. No kid should be brought up thinking he should be like Bush. He should have the character of Mike. Don't let him watch the news for a few weeks, and get his butt out to the basketball court.

You should be pround of your child, s/he is intelligent and understand complex situations; it seems he watches movies. I think if you honestly check his/her school books, her maths scores must be high. If you are worried about him/her taking Bush as a role model then show and teach him/her the difference between good and bad and let her/him choose, that is how far parents can only go. For example Solders are our sons/daughters as well, though they made choices and sacrifices to be fighters. Children may choose what we dont like but our role is simply to teach and demonstrate the good things ourselves and wait till they are between 18 to 25 for their true choices to be revealed.

No child would want to be a complete failure like Bush. Children are a lot smarter than you think. My 10 month old niece cries when she sees Bush on tv.
