The slender or junior size ones with the plastic applicators. They´re smaller and easier to insert. Don´t use O.B, those don´t have applicators and are for women who have had babies.

I'm a really big fan of the Pearls. Because the applicator tip is actually coveredy by plastic, it won't hurt going in, even if you are kinda dry. Especially for your first time, you don't want something that's gonna hurt.

I would definetely say Pearl. Smaller, plastic tip, and its easier insertion.

Tampax pearls, but if you are trying to save money...regular tampax will do.
