It depends on how happy the Sun is feeling at the time and whether she feels like playing - same reason why the Sun sometimes seems more brighter than in days gone by basically.

The Sun is not actually yellow, it simply appears that way, as well. It has to do with the combination of gasses in our atmosphere. As the suns rays come in contact with our atmosphere, certain light wavelengths are refracted (blue & yellow) so that is what we see. The other light wavelengths are reflected away, so we don't see them.

the sky isnt actually blue the layer or bit that protects the world or whatever you want to call it reflects off the sun and changes it that colour .
