They'd be a US citizen. Their parents would have to go through immigration to make sure they're legal, but the person born in the Lone Star State would be able to take advantage of all the rights and privelages as any other US citizen.

You're an American citizen. My parents are Nigerian and I was born here in Georgia, but I'm still an American citizen. They still raise me and my siblings like we're in Africa though- culture and food-wise

i believe Nigeria allows duo citizenship therefore your parents might have been born in the us and rightfully are u.s citizens
but they can also claim their Nigerian citizenship claiming decent

They are American. My brother had this problem--he looks Asian but he was born in New York. People would ask him "where are you from" and he would reply "New York". Then they had the audicity to ask "No, where are you REALLY from"....ummmm
