I don't mean as a person, on American Idol or whatever, but I mean, her music. I know, I know, so 80's...but seriously, she has some great songs! Just wondering who else, if anyone, loves listening to her stuff.

I'll openly admit I love her music. I was born in the early 80's, and I remember growing up on stuff like Paula Abdul ("Straight Up" was my favorite), Madonna ("Like A Virgin" was so cool), & Michael Jackson (I wanted "Black Or White" to be my wedding song when I was little!) and how everyone would always be singing those songs everywhere you went in elementary school.
I don't really listen to that style of music any more, but whenever I hear songs of that time period, like in the movies, it makes me reminisce about the past. The 80's did have quite good music... definately different than decades before or after it!

Paula Abdul she grew up a few towns over in Baldwin, Long Island. Heard she was quiet in high school. Guess who else grew in her old neighborhood? Dee Snyder of Twisted Sisters 80s Rock n' Roll MTV fame.

For some reason, I liked her music in the 80's but if I hear it now, I hate it.

I loved her as a dancer. Not so much love for her over produced music where it sounds like she's singing through her throat.
