My best friend always seems to fall in love with verbally or physically abusive boys. What i tried to do was tell her who would be good to her, or threaten the boy, or talk to her about it. She listens to me and she knows I'm right because I tell her what she's worth. Shes such a great girlfriend and she doesnt deserve boys like that. Basically, shes scared to break up with them. What would you do?

I already sat her down and told her all that. Actions speak louder than words though. I need actions people!

the longer the waits the harder it will be, as an abuse guy will drain her willpower and make her weaker.. you gotta jus be blunt and tell her to dump the guy. if need be she can do it in asafe location eg around other people or whatever. if telling her dosnt do it then push her more.. i'm not usually one to advocate forcing people to do things, but sometimes people need that push cos it can be hard on their own.

Just sit her down and just say shes better then that, she doesnt need a guy making her feel worthless because honestly if its bad now, they're just going to get worse. She needs to get out of there, and find someone that will love her, never hurt her, be there for her, understand her, and support her. If you've told her that already and shes scared to break up with him, then maybe you can help her though it. Be there when she does it, so you can back her up if he tries to say or do anything. In situations like that you're going to have to be with her. You never know what that kind of guy is going to do, so be there when she does it and hang around her until she finds a good and better boy.

I'd encourage her to leave those guys and not to be scared about breaking up with them. I'd tell her that if there's anybody who should be scared-it's those guys. I believe that if she is being abused by them physically then she can report them and they can get in trouble with the police. I'd also encourage her to stand up for herself and let those guys know that she doesn't appreciate how they are treating her and that their relationship is over because she is sick and tired of being treated so wrong.
Those guys may tell her that they are going to do better and apologize but let's face it: If those guys don't keep their word and don't get counseling then they aren't going to do better. They're just going to keep making up excuses and begging for her to stay and then they'll keep disrespecting her.
And I think ANY girl should NOT even have to put with that!

Good luck!
