I don't hate him at all. Just think he's a bit of a w*nker, not least because of his taste in women. And his dress sense. And his silly whiny voice.
Being Scottish, the fact that he can't take a penalty without making me scream with laughter is a bonus!

Over-exposure, a few years ago he perfected taking free kicks and was an average mid-field player, but since then he's jumped on the celebrity bandwagon and now is perhaps the most famous football player in the world, but his talent has gone down hill. I think some people dislike him because the papers and hello type magazines are always running stories on him and he's not very interesting, the one thing that made him exceptional, his prowess as a sportsman is severly diminished and he doesn't have anything interesting to say, meh, I ignore him.

Please rephrase that question, cause not EVERYONE hates David Beckham....the people that don't know anything about SOCCER hate him...because he is a masterpiece on the soccer field! He's one of the best! He's classy, maybe that's why SOME people hate him!

I don't hate him personally, but I do think he is too highly over-rated. Did jack-**** in the world cup. Plus I can not stand glory-hunting plastic mancunian cockney tw@ts. He embodies that very person. Why could he never support his local team as a kid?

I didn't know people hated him. I don't have any feelings about him one way or the other. He is (or was) a soccer player who married one of the Spice Girls. No cause for emotion that I know of.

I don't hate him... but I don't fancy him... he has a whiny voice, isn't particularly attractive and appears quite shallow... although he may be a good soccer player... I'm quite indifferent to him...
