Ghosts do not exist.

What many people think of as proof that ghosts exists is merely something they've experienced but can't explain in any other way than saying that it was a ghost.

People who are unable to sleep for several days because of an illness, for example, might hallucinate and "see" dead relatives while he is still awake. A person who didn't know it was the brain taking time out to "dream" while awake might believe that his dead relatives came back to comfort him in his illness.

Photographs of ghosts (orbs, etc.) are little more than way-out-of-focus specks of dust or other airborne particles too close to the flash and lens of the camera.

Still other photographs are merely misuse of the camera. A shaky hand can cause blurs. A person who doesn't know how to properly use the "night portait" setting on a camera might see "energy" from distant lights. Ask yourself, why these "ghosts" never appear in professional photographs....

When people visit a "haunted house" they've usually been told what "ghost" is there and where. That biases the visitor--even subconciously--and the visitor will then "feel" something.

John Edward, Sylvia Browne and other "psychics" who claim to talk to the dead are only skilled in an art called "Cold Reading". A major factor in a successful "Cold Reading" is the psychic tossing out very vague references ("I'm seeing water.") and the person being "read" only remembering the "hits"--the vague references the psychic got right--and forgetting the "misses".

There is always an explaination to a "ghostly experience". It's just that the person who experienced it may not know what it is other than to believe it was a ghost.

I took a digital photo once and the 1 picture had a family of 5 in the form of a mist and the next photo had a ton of orbs. Just look at ghost pictures on the internet - you'll see some weird stuff. AND YES THEY DO EXIST!

I just wanted to add a little, because the people that don't believe in ghost never had that opportunity to meet one. Or at least their afraid to tell anyone they do. They feel that someone will fit them for a straight jacket, and place them in a quiet room, that's just after the words come out of their mouths.

I don't believe that ghosts are what most people think they are- the "souls of the departed". Let me tell you a bit about the soul in light of what the bible says.

When Adam's creation is explained in the bible, Genesis 2:7 says he was formed from the dust (clay), and he "came to be a living soul". It doesn't say that he HAD a soul, but that he WAS soul. The bible mentions 'kidnapping a soul', and at Ezekiel 18:4 we read, "the soul that is sinning- it itself will die". Ecclesiastes 9:5 says that the dead are not conscious.

In Deuteronomy we learn that it was unacceptable to God for his people to be involved in magic, fortune telling or try to 'inquire of the dead'. The reason for this was: "Jehovah your God has not given you anything like this". (Deut. 18:1-12, 14)

If the soul dies, magic and 'talking to the dead' aren't from God, then who would cause people to think they can communicate with the dead? Satan and his demons. When a person thinks they have seen a ghost- they have actually been in the presence of a demon. Ghosts do exist, I have seen many, but they are defiantly not dead people.another life form, a alien.not sure but the dead know nothing and do not get trapped here.
