It's so funny how you can get some of this bush (not capitalized on purpose) supporters so mad--just shows how close minded and ignorant they are--well after all they are bush supporters.

This is what i don't get:

Supposedly we went to war because we were under the threat of ooh "weapons of mass destruction" that must have been invisible of course 'cause they were never found. Now, bush's excuse it that we are still there to change their laws and policies and he wants to make Iraq a better place to live, right? *buzzer* WRONG!!! Tell me if this is so true then why did we allow the hanging of Saddam. Don't get me wrong i think Saddam is burning in hell right now but if we don't allow hanging here because it's cruel than why were we so ok w/ it being done over there???? I just find it so contradicting and hypocritical on bush's part. The funniest thing is that now we are hearing them complain about the people that were harrasing Saddam during his execution--saying this is "cruel", hmm....which one's worst, harrastment or hanging?! What a toughie.

bush is just as bad as Saddam, the only difference between them is that Saddam was open about his evil doings while bush has the nerve to sugar coat it all--making excuses for this pointless war---killing innocent people every-single-day.

Yup, this is your president. Be proud, be very proud ;-)

Congress cannot just simply vote Bush out of office. There is a process which culminates in impeachment which must happen. Usually a committee is set up to investigate wrongdoing and a grand jury is assembled to recommmend charges. Then the House must vote to pursue those charges in a trial, which is called impeachment, to be held in the Senate. After the trial, the Senate must vote convict and then to remove the President from office (this requires 60 votes in the Senate). This process, even if started today, would last for another year and a half.

Bush had ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with blowing up the WTC. That is probably the only thing I will ever say in defense of him. And this is just the first day of the new term of Congress, they can't just throw him out. Someone has to introduce a Bill of Impeachment which has to be voted on, hearings have to be held, a trial has to be held - its a long, laborious process and isn't something which is accomplished in a day or two.

We truly live in a great democracy that allows the most inept among us to find a minimum wage job. God Bless America!

You're correct, it does appear that the new congress lacks a backbone. Hang on it's going to be a bumpy ride. Bush belongs in prison for treason and crimes against humanity.

Chucky,

Give it a rest. Take a day off. Go walk in the park. When you come back, tell us what you are going to do when you're President.
