I was thinking about all the conflict in the world today from international wars down to violent arguments on the street.

I asked myself if there was one general reason for conflict between people.

I thought about different races, different nationalities, language, wealth, land, different points of view that people have over any number of topics.

I came to a conclusion (not neccassarily a correct conclusion) that it is just human behaviour, and typically male behaviour. We enjoy sport which is ritual combat and competition, which sets us against one another.

So, if there were no men in the world could we then live in peace?

Just a mad rambling thought, but I'm interested to hear what other people may think.
Thanks.

Well we are designed for conflict I think. I don't think all conflict is bad. There is such thing as a healthy conflict. The people involved just have to manage conflict in a healthy matter. Conflict can result in better communication, deeper understanding, stronger relationships, and the list goes on and on. I believe I have a list of over 30 benefits of conflict.

This is typical bimbo speak, some of most rabid blood crazed people n the world have been and are women, look at the lunatics around either in the recent past or now, Margaret Thatcher, Condaleeza Rice, Indira Gandhi, the so called female freedom fighters in ireland, the various female leaders of sri lanka, the fact is all warfare, death and destruction is caused by two things greed and religion so it does not matter who is in charge a man or a woman if they are greedy enough and religious lunatics then wars will happen.

Conflict promotes scientific progress, some good some bad.

WW2 Example is the invention of the atom bomb and massive advances in plastic surgery to treat those badly burnt during the war. It would seem that man's desire to kill is equalled by his desire to save.

With out progress, cultures get stagnant, and are taken over by progressive cultures. Chinese Dynasties and the Romans suffered with this.

I believe conflict is good for society, it advances science in all areas, it culls the population and promotes a massive global shuffling around of the population,; giving us a better understanding of other cultures and racial intermarriage. All good for the universal citizen and the end to ,and the human race. This could be good or bad.

Lack of the Male Element would most def go a LOOOOOONG way toward loss of the conflict/competition.
As long as there are men there will be combat.
