Well. I remember I went because I was having some discharge and your parent comes in the room if they want. My mom didn't. They weigh you and stuff like that. Then, You go into the gyno's office and they ask you why are you here? Are you sexually active? I am not so, of course they said Am I sure? and stuff like yeah. Don't lie to them. just tell them the truth they are there to help you and plus they cant tell ur parents good luck..It was very nerve wrecking

They will (probably) ask you if you're sexually active. If you might be pregnant. When you had your last period. How long it lasts when you have it. How often do you have your period. By irregular - do you have your period once every three months, twice a month, etc. Is it heavy? Cramps? What kind of birth control you use (if you use it). Diet. Exercise. Any medications you use. Smoke? Drink alcohol? Caffeine?
The more information you can give the doc or nurse, the better they can help you. Do not be embarrassed about any of your symptoms (gas, diarrhea, constipation, heartburn, bad breath) whatever they may be. They have heard and seen just about everything and the more they know the better they can help you.
Good luck!

Everyone has pretty well covered the questions you'll be asked.
It's important to answer them truthfully, even if they are embarassing. They are there to help you, not judge you.

You don't need to give them specifics as to how many partners you've had, but they need to know if you have been sexually active so that they know to check for STDs and things.

Even if they don't ask, tell them about anything odd going on down there, from stinky farts, to odd pains, stuff like that. It'll all help them to help you.

When was your last period? How long does your period last? Are your periods heavy or light? Do you have spotting between periods? Do you get cramps? Are you sexually active? They can put you on the pill to regulate your period even if you aren't sexually active. Good luck.

S/he will probably ask you when your last period was, if you're sexually active, how many partners you've had, etc. S/he might also ask if you've had any other problems such as itching, discharge, etc. to rule out an STD or other infection. They may also ask if you might be pregnant.

Your gynacologist will certainly ask you when your last period happened. He/she might ask you about contraception you might use, previous illnesses and your general health. Questions about the number of your sexual partners and such things are NOT asked and are not of the business of a doctor.
