At this moment i am at a state of emergency, I got my ears pierce last saturday. Everything was fine till now, I woke up an saw that my one of my earrings were missing, my left ear is fine, but right ear wasn't i saw that the earring in my right ear wasn't there but stuck in my ear, now im panicking cause its not coming out, i called my friend she said that i should soak it in the antiseptic and twirl it till it come out, but its hurt but not much, the problem is that i think that the swelling is preventing from it to come out, and this is in my lower lobe which i had pierced, because when i was younger the person whom did my ears had it the middle, so now i took the other one out so it won't happen. Now i am in panic mood..Do i have to go to the hopstial to be removed, or should i continue putting the antiseptic and twirling it to come out.

The same thing happened to me. Do you have an older sibling or a mom that can help you get it out? Because my older sister HATES looking at things like that, yet she did it anyways. The problem with my earring was that it was too small and it just slipped into my ear. This is what my sister did to me: She got an ice cube and placed it right next to the stem in the back. She said this would melt and water would go into my ear and rinse it out, and also loosen up the stud. Then she, and very little at a time, pushed it out where it came in. During all this, she would either get another ice cube or tell my step sister to push it out while she massaged her hand. It was an experience I never forgot and guess what I did to those earrings afterwards? I cleaned them off, and and only wore them once after that. I'm thinking about wearing them again though.

Go to a professional. That is the only way any piercing should be done and they can help you get it resolved. Cheap isn't good and good isn't cheap. Get everything done right, I learned that the hard way too with my lobes from the mall. Now I only go to a pro. Get it taken care of and look into getting at tetinus shot if you haven't had one in the last ten years since the ring has sunk in. Hope it gets better soon, infections suck. - Do not twist earrings in the first few days. As it's healing the first few days anything more than gentle cleaning can rip the skin open again. Don't twist for the first week, and don't play with any new piercing more than you need to.

Stop freaking out - that's the first step. If you allow yourself to freak out too much then your body goes into survival mode and makes everything out to be way worse than it is.
What you are going to want to do is get some bactine, and just start putting it on the area 3 times a day (NO MORE) and try twisting the stud in place. This will clean out anything that will have gotten stuck in there and is causing it to swell. In about a week the swelling will go down and the earring will come back out. If you clean it too much it will become infected more and hurt a lot more, and if you clean it too little it will become worse as well.

Keep working with it. The puessure of sleeping on that side has just pushed the earring in too far. My ear piercings are old and this still happens from time to time. By the way if you really want the piercing put the other one back in ASAP, and it is best to keep the ring in anyway so that there is a way for the wound to drain.

if you mean that the back of the earing is inside the skin, you can work it out. I did not girlfriends last year. she had put the clasp on to tight and it worked it way into the ear.
you should see if a friend will help you get it out. they can see behind the ear. if you can get the swelling do it will be easier.

Is it in your ear or in your earlobe where it was pierced? If it is actually IN your ear - get some medical attention. If the lobe is swollen and infected, you have to get the earring out and treat the infection. Maybe ask your parents for help with that?

Call your doctor and ask him if you can come in.
No need for the emergency room, but you want
to avoid leaving it like that and getting serious
infections. Even if you remove the earring it might
get infected. Your regular family doctor can fix this
up no problem.

This happened to me if it doesn't come out after a couple of minutes you really should go to the hospital or your doctor's office because it could be the start of an allergic reaction.

You might also want to put ice to reduce the swelling....that might help free the earring.
