Because I heard that even though if you get A's in regular, the colleges only look at honor student first then regulars, so basicly I'm saying being the lowest in honors better than highest in regular?

An A is an A.

If you get a C, the top schools aren't going to be looking at you. A 4.0 GPA, even in regular classes, will at least get you a look by the top schools.

And yes, you're talking about a weighted 3.0 vs. a weighted 4.0. The 4.0 is obviously better.

go for the A. many colleges won't honor a C grade in an AP class anyway so it's a lot more work for not benefit.

A C in AP. Reason, the competition in AP is more fierce than in regular. What would you rather accomplish, batting .300 in minor league Triple A baseball, or batting .250 in the major leagues. I'd rather bat .250 in the majors. And top universities know full well the competitive nature of AP classes.

A in reg
ALL C's in AP just give you 3 GPA while all A's in reg give you 4.00 GPA.
