The winnipeg free press opens with highlights. When I click on any news item to expand it to the full article Microsoft comes up with a note saying it has run into a problem and will have to shut down. I have clicked on the spot where it says to report it to Microsoft. Received one response from Microsoft stating it was the Yahoo toolbar causing the problem. Have not been able to correct the problem. I am in Explorer 7. Is that part of the problem?
I have tried to open several times every day with no success. Please help.

Internet Explorer 7 may be part of the problem. A lot of websites have not updated their sites to be used with Internet Explorer 7 yet.
