If your amp does not have R,B,G connections that means it does not do video switching, in which case you will run your audio cables to the amp and the video cables directly into the component input on the back of the tv. If you have a surround sound amp you should get rid of the red/white(stereo) cables and find out about the wii's digital audio options, it should have a fiber optic audio option.

Now if you do have RBG connectors on the back of the amp, you can run the cables from the wii into the INPUT or IN socket. Then a seperate set of component cables will be ran from the OUTPUT or OUT socket to the INPUT on the back of the tv. This method requires more cables, more money, more time and more headache.

After you get the cables hooked up you will need to select what video input the wii is on with you tv remote(tv/video or input select button). The wii might make you select component option but im pretty sure it will have some kind of auto detection for inputs. That should be it
Summary.....run all audio cables into your audio equiptment(amp)
and all your video cables into your tv. Good Luck
