No they aren't overrated. Yes, Michigan gave them a close game and then got stomped, but Michigan also beat Wisconsin who beat Arkansas (the #2 team in the SEC). Ohio State beat a good Michigan team and beat Texas, at Texas. Those are 2 impressive wins. They also beat Penn State who thoroughly beat Tennessee (another supposedly strong SEC team). Florida did not play one good non-conference game and so far the only SEC victory they have that looks really impressive after the bowl games is LSU, but that was early in the year. LSU didn't get hot until the 2nd half of the year and how knows how that outcome would've been if they played now.

We'll see what happens in the title game, but OSU is loaded with NFL talent, a great big-time coach and the Heisman Trophy winner, not to mention being 12-0. I don't know how you can say they're overrated, especially since a lot of people are picking Florida to win. If OSU was really overrated, everyone would be picking them to win the game.

Ohio State has been foisted on us as the #1 team from day #1 of the season before a game was played. Even though they are 12-0, only one team they beat has a winning record. This is not a commanding indication of being a #1 team. On the other hand
Florida has beaten a number of teams who have winning records and which are ranked including LSU which has a quarterback who is far more dominating than Troy Smith and with a better defense. So what makes OSU so great besides the press ?

I'm a huge OSU fan but I'm worried about this game considering how badly Michigan fared in the Rose Bowl. But they played a tough schedule and nobody beat them, so if they are overrated it can't be by much.

I'm confused by your question because clearly Ohio State is not "over-rated" That statement would lead one to believe that they do not deserve to be rated as they are. Would being labeled the 2007 National Champions be over-rated? Only if they don't win which I doubt will happen.

12-0 is ruff to be over rated but when they play Florida we will know....we know that Mich gave them a close game and then Mich got stomped on the other day so it will be interesting to see how the game goes both teams have very athletic players in skilled positions so it will be a good one

no their not overrated I'm just saying that they will lose because of all the accolade every one have giving them for being so good in the regular season i think they and everyone in the media are over looking how good Florida is and it will be a upset because of that.you don't win games on merits it have to be played .go gators
