The absolutely free reverse phone lookup sites generally provide the most basic of information such as name and it works only for landlines. To get further information, money will have to be paid. The free searches do not provide much more than what can be found through the phone book or personal knowledge and they only want your email to send spam.
Stay away from shady reverse phone lookup sites, most likely you won't get any information after you make the payment. Not to mention you won't get a report and you won't get an answer if you try to call for a refund. Stick with a reputable reverse phone lookup site like http://www.phonedetective.link that has been around since 1999.
If I recall correctly they have two options:
1. $14 and you get only one report.
2. $39 and you get unlimited reports. I went with this option because I wanted to verify more numbers. This is how I caught my girlfriend cheating, I got the name, other phone number, address history, relatives, and criminal-court records.

Some counties have online property searches where you can see the history of the owner of the property. Try that via an internet search engine. Whitepages.com and others have a reverse address search and that can help too.
However, you really should report this to the police. The fraud can turn into identity theft or worse.

Perhaps -
A credit check/reference agency
The register of voters (whatever its called - electoral roll in the UK)
The landlord, if its a rental property.
The neighbours
Also, you might try a google search on the net for lines of the exact address in double-quotes to match an complete phrase, such as "24 main street" amarillo texas. One of the results pages may have the full address, name and phone number of a business that used to operate there.

If you have an address, you might wish to pay them a visit. Knock on the door and see just who answers!

Use www.whitepages.com and do a reverse address lookup...
That should give you the person's name...
The reverse address tab is at the top of the page about 5 tabs over. (you should see the little purple tabs that start with "People Search.")
Good Luck, I know that sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes--the State treasures office of Taxation. Public records of who pay the taxes on the property should be the first place to look

If a crime has been committed then your best bet is to go to the police or the District Attorney. Don't mess with criminals. You are not prepared.
Good Luck
