he would go behind me and say things that will make my superiors querel with me, but he wont come face to face to ask me to leave the office. And he also hates the fact that I am pregnant. He wants to know my EDD but I dont want to tell him so he asked my collegues and superiors to ask me. I actually feel like resigning form the job but I have not gotten another one. WHAT SHOULD I DO

Hi Ah.
I think the first thing you have to do is ask yourself what is it that you want. Would you like to keep your job, working in the same department you are now with the same supervisor and co-workers? If so have a talk with your supervisor, try and be as humble as you can and tell him how you feel, let him know that you feel as if you are being targeted and ask that it stops. If it persist then it's time to put it in writing and to notify his supervisor.

If you don't necessarily want to stay in that department try transfering to other areas in the company. And if you don't mind leaving the company then try and stick in their until you can take maternity leave, then use the time that you are out on maternity leave to find something else. Best wishes.

Is there HR personnel you can speak to? Perhaps you can try to stay with the company and move into another department?
There's a young lady at my job who had the same problem. She and her boss (a newly hired director) just could not get along. She stuck it out for months and tried to meet with this man to figure out what she could do to improve their business relationship, but nothing she tried worked. After a few months, she was able to move into a different department.
If that doesn't work, I would suggest looking for something else. You should definitely keep the job you have now until you find something you like.

I think putting up with this kind of stress when your pregnant is unwise. From what you've told me, it's pretty certain this job is not going to give you any advancement or be worth it.

Start forming your exit plan. Polish off your resume. Keep networking for potential new jobs.

You could talk to your supervisors and get their take on things. It may be possible to work with them to solve the problem, but from what you've said they don't seem to have much say in things either.

Good Luck & Congratulations on your pregnancy!

Keep track of everything he does in a journal - names, dates, quotes, witnesses, description, etc. Then, take that to HIS superiors and claim harassment and/or harassment for your being pregnant. He will get hosed.

I would suggest that you have a heart to heart talk with him either after work or during lunch and talk about what is going on.
