When there are issues between different races, is it really about the color of their skin or the differences in their beliefs and the way they are brought up? Think about it before you answer. IMO I believe it's more about the differences in culture that leaves us confused. Who does things right and who does things wrong. Would you agree?

no...i dont agree.........

Your country suffers from racism AND culture "ism".
As i have said to another person who made a similar question, USA is VERY racist.
On the contrary think about this.........you are the father of a very cute, intelligent, white girl that you expect she gets marry a good white guy....but, she felt inlove with a very intelligent, handsome black boy that doesnt go to the university, bcoz hasnt money for it. You will inmediatelly think...."WHY ME"?? There are thousands of white girls around...........why just mine??? And plz, dont tell me that things are not like that.
That things still happens in most of the states..... black pple still cant enter everywhere.
Even, nowadays, arabs are discriminate also, in spite of they are not all the same and not all terrorists.
One thing take to the other..
Everyone knows that in marginated neighbordhoods the education is not good.....and even not all the kids can get it.
Not so much pple care about that kids...and when some of them reachs high levels......is by his own effort
So......coming back to ur question....ur country is very racist,,,,,,,and also if pple havent the same opportunities when studying.....of course that will be cultural differences

The question is too complicated. We are all American so really we are all part of the same "American" culture. However, our culture also consists of many sub-cultures that are constantly in conflict with one another and this is normal. That socieity actually needs this to occur to exist. In Sociology this is called the "Conflict Theory". There is also something called the Functionalism Theory and says that says this conflict is DYSFUNCTIONAL. And no one knows which of these theories are actually correct.

I agree with you, most of it is cultural division. Each racial group has its own subculture; its own music, movies, TV shows, magazines, etc. And as multi-language subcultures come here too, the gap will only grow.

It used to be racism but now it is more of a cultural thing. Poor vs Rich Christian vs everyone else etc.
