When I was first told I got very quiet.
Then Mom gave me a pudding pop, sent me to bed and everything has been great. She does mention her brother (Daddy) but he went away with my sister (cousin) who would be about 11 now.
Those pudding pops at bedtime must run in the family.

Not awkward really.
I get extra presents on my birthday. Mom has to buy for her daughter (me) and her niece (me).
