Stores are allowed and just like they're allowed to advertise that they sell Coke or Pepsi. Small stores should be able to do that and I'm pretty sure suppliers require them to put up signs like those too. Tobacco advertising that got in trouble before was the ones that appeared to be aimed at kids by using cartoon figures (Camel) so I think this is something different.

I am not bothered by porn ads, but I've always felt that society is full of hypocrites for allowing the televised/internet advertising of beer/hard liquor while not allowing tobacco ads. After all, alcohol kills too, and I've NEVER known anyone who killed anyone while nicotine-buzzed.

the thing is google is used by many different ages tobacco is illegal for now people under 18 but porn can sometimes seep through as it is not registered as a age limit

They would argue that it is art. Also you can parent lock your computer to block porn, and tobacco is unhealthy.

Not to get off on a tangent but I 100% agree with "socraticus". Alcohol related deaths are just as prevalent as tobacco if not more so. If driving, I'd rather look to my right and see someone with a cigarette in their hand rather look to my left and see someone with a beer in theirs.
