Enemy is one who wishes to do you harm. Doesn't agree with you about anything or like you and would stab you in the back in a heart beat.

Someone who would at least WISH you harm and failure if not inflict it them self. Someone you SHOULD be afraid of. And vice versa if you are their enemy. Beyond an indifferent dislike, into an active hate.
