I just got back, Watch out at Dunn River Falls. Our group got ripped off big time. We were there Christmas Day,there was a ship photographer there taking pictures and beside him a guy making video. At the end the guy making the video was charging 40 bucks for it. He had a clipboard, a form, and a BIG list of names of people who had signed up for the video(at 40 bucks a pop). He took down our ship name, cabin number, and our names. He said the video would be delivered to the ship. Once we were on board and the ship had departed we went down to get our video. Lo and behold no video. We got scammed as I am sure everyone else on that list did. So when you get to Dunn River and you see a guy with a video camera telling everybody to stick out there tounges and yell WAZZZ UPP. Please punch him in the head for me and tell him Merry Christmas.
Also, If you get a group together(we had 10) you can get a bus right outside the dock(red licensed and AC). They wanted 50 a person, we barted them down to 25 a person. For that they took us anywhere we wanted for the whole tim ewe were there. They took us to the falls, rainforest, shopping and jetsking. They even stopped at a place where we picked up cheap Red Stripe and food for the day. All for a tenth of the price if we all paid for a shore excursion. We were so happy with them we tipped them an extra 100.
REMEMBER TO BARTER EVERYTHING IN JAMAICA. It does not even matter if it is government owned.

There will inevitably be an excursion to the Dunn's River Falls and that is something unmissable. It will probably include a visit to a plantation and you'll come away feeling that you have really seen something of the place. We resisted any temptation to struggle up towards the falls and were glad we did, as we saw somebody slip and sustain a very nasty gash. Just climb down the steps to the beach, treat yourself to a Red Stripe and revel in the scenery!

We did the shore excursion that went to Dunn's River Falls and Dolphin Interaction..the dolphin one we had to wait awhile...but Dunn's River Falls is super fun! If you go there, buy some water shoes, cause the rocks are slippery and I don't think I'd wear the ones they have there-that kinda grosses me out. Have fun! Also, the shopping is really good there.
