To tell you frankly both does not work. It is only the marketing strategy and the advertisements influence the buyers. If you want good results, use lemon, milk, turmeric, cucumber. These can be applied raw or can be made paste and apply as face pack. These are natural and does not harm your skin.

Fair and Lovely brightens our skin. I'm using fair and lovely for 2 years. I'm sure it brightens my skin from tone 14 to tone 8. Just it was awesome. Ponds is also good but it won't brighten our skin tone. While applying ponds no need to put powder on ur face. Ponds alone give u a good look on ur face. Ponds cream (green color cap - now its orange color cap) the production is stopped so that i'm using the fair and lovely.

ponds is a cold cream and fair n lovely is a fairness cream that never really works. no cream can make u fair, its only the melenocytes of skin that decide the complexion. so i'd say ponds is better, atleast they advertise what they sell.

Ponds Fairness cream is for COLD WINTER SEASON.
FAIR & LOVELY is for getting fairer., but I am not sure of the results

Fair and Lovely cream is amazing. I have everything in their brand- body soap, cleanser, toner and moisturizer lotion. Pond's just sucks ***.

Every skin is ddifferent and diff products suit diff skins.
So u have to experiment first . But i think its best to go in for home packs rather than use chemicals on yr face.

PONDS is more preferable. it is a gud moisturiser. use it n u wil never want 2 try anything more

i have never heard of fair and lovely but i guess you'll never know until you try it personally. I use Olay Complete. it's reasonably priced and it works great for me. it's light and it doesn't clog pores.
