I wouldn't say its their responsiblility because driving isn't mandatory its a priviledge in this country, but they should want to give you more practice and driver's ed sucks. You might try to convince them or maybe other extended family members, or other friends that know how to drive. my sister and an old boyfriend taught me how to drive. also the people that gave you hands down are idiots, don't mind them...

It's either their repsonsibility to teach you themselves or if that's too stressful for everyone then they should have a driving instructor teach you. It's worth the $$.

(Oh and I gave you a thumbs up. Good luck!)

Maybe another family member or friend could teach you. My mother's friend taught me how to drive. My mom never had time. And my ex taught me how to drive a stick shift. If you want to learn, isn't there anyone else that can help you?

They may not necessarily be the best people to teach you to drive, and if they have any (presumably minor) faults/bad habits they may pass them on to you. You're probably better off getting a driving instructor, expensive as it is.

Stop whining..... your parents are lazy slackers, deal with it...

Find a friend who you think is a good driver and ask them to help you with your driving practice....

no one here knows you or your family so it is unfair for you to ask strangers that don't know you or them to answer such a question. driving a motor vehicle is a great responcibility. the operator of a motor vehicle is held accountable for his or her action under the law.

Find a friend or relative.......no parents......that will take you out somewhere and let you get behind the wheel and explain to you the rules of the road.
