Don't listen to all those posters who said No.

I have a DS and a DS Lite, and I can play Final Fantasy I & II: Dawn of Souls on both of them, so yes, you can play GBA games on the DS.

You can read the manual, and it will tell you what a few of us are telling you: It's possible to play GBA games on the DS/DS Lite.

Yes you can play GBA games on your DS, there are even some games that will allow for interaction between two games. Like if you have WarioWare Touched, and the first Wario ware game for the advanced, you get a special mini-movie.
Also that ability is a major feature for the pokemon mystery dungeon games. Red is for GBA Blue is for DS, and they can communicate with each other if you put them both in.

You cannot, however, play original game boy or gameboy color games on the ds. (unless they get ported to GBA) Due to the way the bottom of the cartridge is, so, no playing yoshi's cooki on the DS..

Another thing you cannot do, is any kind of trading between GBA games. (IE Pokemon) You still need a GBA to communicate between GBA games.

hmmm. whilst i replaced into youthful i had a gba. i had a interest and used to play it continuously then what exceeded off to yours exceeded off to mine. i think that it is the gba interest. little question. yet once you wanna make beneficial merely pass to a interest keep and ask if u can try between the used gba video games. which will end it as quickly as and for all.
