Not another Saddam execution question?!? Please give it a rest!

The execution was justified yes, definitely. I don't think anyone is questioning that.
What people are questioning was the way in which it was carried out.
1. It was done on the eve of one of our (Muslims) biggest holidays: Eid Al-Adha. This would be like hanging Hitler on Christmas Eve. Sure, no one would be against the hanging, but why choose that date???
2. If you have seen the footage (and understand Arabic and what is going on in the world) you would notice that the people who hanged him, and the only who were present were Shi'a Muslims, with no Sunnis present. They were chanting a prayer to Muhammed (pbuh) and Allah, as well as to their most current leader, which is very very wrong. They told Saddam to go to hell right before he was lynched, and they hanged him in the middle of his prayer. For anyone who is not Muslim, this is similar to sticking the needle in someone's arm as he/she is reciting a verse from the Bible.
I am in no way saying Saddam should have lived. He was a very crazy man who killed a lot of people. The politics behind his hanging were crazy. The American government (supposedly) advised the counsel in Iraq to wait a week until after Eid was over, and the counsel instead rushed the paperwork through in record time so that they could kill him immediately. For the first time Iraq did not celebrate Eid on time which is a sin.
It is a very disturbing video to watch, but if anyone would like to I have provided the link of his hanging.

You are right to feel like you do. After killing, maiming and dismembering thousands, he received his just reward.
By now he has also gotten his just reward from a much higher court.
Hope he and Hitler get along. I know they are in the same place.

I agree. I even watched all the videos. Very entertaining. Even that grainy cell phone video. Didn't get to see too much, unfortunatley :(
