So this is the second time this has happened, i woke up one morning feeling like there was a cloud or something covering my ear. In addition to this I have a sore throat and i feel like i could toss my cookies. a few people believed i might have a sinus infection or allergies, so i took some sinus medicine and it has done nothing to help. in fact, i feel extrememly drowsy, my legs are weak, and i feel even more naseous. Does anybody know what this might be and what i should do to feel better?

I would definitely seek medical attention as soon as possible. It could be a sinus infection that is draining to your throat, but the other symptoms of weakness and nausea may be indications of something more serious. Get it diagnosed properly to treat it immediately. Go to the emergency room if you don't have health coverage. Then make a payment arrangement to pay your balance-- but DO get it looked at. Ear infections can lead to severe damage if left untreated.

It sounds like you are coming down with the flu.
As for your ear, you have fluid in your middle ear (NOT the outer ear, as the other guy thought). Fluid will collect there if you have a sore throat, which causes the eustacian tube to swell shut (that's the tube that drains into your throat from your middle ear).
An otolaryngologist (ENT) specializes in disorders of the ear, nose and throat, but your primary doctor can check you for a middle ear infection by looking into your ear canal with an otoscope.
Feel better soon!

sounds like you have some kind of infection... just see your regular doctor and he can give you an antibiotic. pseudoephedrine (get the stuff from behind the pharmacy counter not the PE crap thats over the counter) might help a little bit with the ear pressure. ask the pharmacist if they have any advice for you

Imo, it replaced into very incorrect of the ent document to assert there is not something would be executed. The dizzyness on my own is something which could be appeared into immediately & thoroughly, then there is the consistent soreness. you may have been noted a neurologist. You have been assuming the soreness replaced into from sinuses, and in accordance to the ct, it is not. it would nicely be from neurological motives, aggravated nerve(s), and so on. i might attempt to make certain an experienced neurologist at a large coaching scientific institution. if your GP referred you to the ent, i might ***** to the GP approximately ent's loss of stick to-up in the presence of severe indications. melancholy would reason comparable indications, so tell the neurologist in case you sense depressed.

Sounds like an ear infection for sure. Only antobiotic will fix this easily and quickly.

See a doctor, a good dose of anti-biotic and anti-histamine can do wonders.

Please consult an ENT Surgeon instead of trying undesired short cuts.
