A friend is someone who is patient, someone who accepts me for who I am and does not judge. A friend will lift me up when I'm feeling down and tell me when I'm being stupid even though I might get mad. A friend will listen and know that sometimes they don't need to say anything back, but just listen to me vent. A friend, to me, is someone who truly loves me without pretense. For me, my friends are as important or even at times more important than my family because they've loved me for who I am even more than my family has. They take the time to know and see the real me as opposed to who I am in relation to the family, if that makes any sense.

Someone who sticks by you no matter what and never lets you down and sticks up for you no matter how unpopular you are and doesnt laugh at you cuz you have a crappy haircut or your retarded or something. And someone who doesn't do what everyone else is doing (making fun of me) and actually stands up and says go f* off to my enemies and doesnt do what the crowd does just to be "cool" if you dont want him to. Someone who you hang out with and play video games and trade stuff with and stuff like that. Someone who you can talk to and discuss your problems with and they'll actually be serious about it and someone who can keep a secret. And someone who accepts me for who I am on the inside and doesn't judge books by their covers. All of those are attributes of a true friend

Someone that will be there for you without expecting anything in return. Someone that doesn't lie to you even if it will hurt your feelings. But it is really hard to find someone like that when you are older and I'm only 21. I learned my lesson about "Friends" in high school.

someone who you would do anything for, someone you completely trust and would never betray. Someone who is there for you when no one else cares, someone who will go to movies and concerts with you even if they're not that interested. But someone that you would do the exact same for.
It goes both ways.

someone there for you to talk to, that you do not have to make plans with, just say, "lets go to starbux", and your off, spur of the moment. someone who you can tell whatever. somone who will listan to you blather on about how totaly cute kevin zegers is! and who you will listen to blather on about how they have company, and they have to sleep in the babies room, and he wakes up the crack of dawn to throw his stuff out of the crib.
that is a true friend.
and it helps if it is is cute guy, like one of my friends, we are totaly like best friends, but i have the biggest crush on him.

someone who forgives you, and you can forgive
but you don't have to too much
