Depends on the company. I work for a large payroll company and have many client company's that define full-time differently. Usually anything over 30 plus a week. But some company's might define it as 35 or 40 hours. Usually they set this to determine who is eligable for benefits and who is not.
Federal Goverment States that:
(The Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) does not define full-time employment or part-time employment. This is a matter generally to be determined by the employer.)

For most jobs full time is 8 hrs per day / 40 hrs per week. Some places it is 7.5 hrs per day / 37.5 hrs per week. Add in an unpaid hour or half hour for you lunch each day too.
