Should they be ranked in the top 3 with the talent the have coming back

Preseason Ranking won't matter until the summer is here. It will all depend on who leaves early for the Draft. USC will probably be at least in the top 5. But I doubt they will be number 1.

Talent coming in is not as big a factor as talent that returns. Many of the current top ten teams will be losing some great seniors and possibly some great juniors....ask again in July.

Many people think that whoever won the Rose Bowl would be #1 next year. I think that will hold true and USC will be ranked #1 in the preseason. Like you said they have a lot of talent coming back.

USC preseason rank: 3

I would say LSU would be #1 followed by Florida #2

OSU would probably be 4 or 5 along with Michigan

I would say they'll probably be ranked #1. The only question about them, will be their head coach once Carroll bolts for the NFL. I would say USC is 1, Michigan is 2, WVU is 3, Arkansas 4, Wisconsin 5.

I know, Wisco beat Arky, but Wisco is losing Stocco and their back up is very unproven.

I think they will be ranked in the Top 3 because of how they dismantled Michigan and their starting quarterback is returning. Also, Pete Carroll just seems to reload each year no matter who graduates.

USC will likely be the pre-season #1 next year based on their returning roster and dismantling of Michigan in the Rose Bowl.

absolutely! they proved they should be after beating up a very good michigan team (which will probably be #2). they will practically have the same team next year, but with more 5-star recruits.

michigan will be #2 and florida will be #3.

if florida beats ohio state, we will have to change the answer a bit.
