i'm doing a graph but when i type in 25% it doesn't show up and it changes by it self to 2500% so i want 2 know is that still accurate?

whenever i write 0.25 0r .25 it keeps saying zero and i need this for an imlportant project it's messing up my graph! it just shows as 0

no you should write 0.25 in stead of 25
because 0.25 = 25%

You can either enter .25 or you can change the formatting of the cells feeding the chart to be numbers. If you do the latter, simply add "(%)" to the wording that corresponds to those percents. For example, "People who ask questions on Yahoo! Answers (%)"

No....2500% is 100 times 25%. 25.00% is the same as 25%.

AHHHHH... of course...Anton has it.

When you are entering a percentage in an Excel spreadsheet, you should type .25, not 25.

Give him the credit.

I do not think so. 2500% would be twentyfive hundred percent not twentyfive percent.

But 0025% and 25% should be the same.

it wil be the same thing but with 2 zeros on the end.
