I relished all seven of the Narnia books, but could not finish The Great Divorce or The Screw Tape Letters?

anyone else attempt & bail on these 2 other books by CS Lewis ?

Yes - if you're not into religious philosophy his other books are just too much. The Narnia books are much more accessible because they're actually stories, although he meant them to be religious allegories.

The Narnia ones are a piece of cake to read! All his other stuff is alot deeper and harder to read! They are kinda hard to follow.. but I can say if you can get into them they are awesome books!!! He has more then just the ones you talked about!
