According to the Internet Movie Database and Wikipedia websites, they are going to make Pee-wee's Playhouse: The Movie. It will probably be released sometime this year. The movie is currently in pre-production status.

I am absolutely disgusted to say this, but it's true. PWPH: The Movie is in pre-production (they haven't started filming, and are probably finalizing the script and financing). The whole thing is utterly unnecessary because there are already two other Pee Wee movies.

That would likely be one of the most incredible things ever.
I loved its short stint on Adult Swim...and I really can't imagine how I loved it so much as a kid...it's pretty twisted.

I wouldn't be surprised....Hollywood is obviously lacking in originality, so they are "butt mining".
