I don't have a clue. We have lots of rubbish player that are English . The have to be foreign else we would never be good enough. Arsenal sometimes play their whole squad full of foreigners! What rubbish they are a English team for lords sake! I thought they would definitely have more than 9 English players in one team. The should make a law about it that is what i personally thing. It is such a rubbish system. Why is it like this? Most top scorers for England are foreign players. They should be in their own country. More English people should get taught football. England only consists of about 16 players that are any decent! I think it is so silly! And i suppose english people are alot more expensive than any other people! :P

I hope i helped answer you question!

By the way - i don't want to be racist to anyone while i wrote this message! Sorry if i have offended you!

most of the national Team has not reached the expectations of a lot of people. I wasn't porn in 1966 when England won the world cup and that was some achievement for the players of the day and the leagues were full of native players with one or two foreign nationals. But I think the point that you are missing is that a lot of young players of the game don't get a look in big clubs now cos of the expectations of the fans, what with Champions league and uefa cup competitions, the clubs see these players and buy them, what chance have our youngsters got, Not everyone is David Beckham, and do you think that he would of got a look in at Man U these days as a young player, I don't think so, Ferguson put all them youngsters in the team to cut wages and ease out the ageing players, The point is we have got young talent but they don't get the chance to shine, look at my team, Chelsea, we have a very good youth programme there, but the club goes out and buys players like Deco and Ballack. ok they may of been on a bosman but do you get my point, no youth coming through and there are only a few now that do bring them through, Man U being the top club that still does, it is easier to buy foreign talent than to take a chance on home grown But I do see where you are coming from, the national side was pants back then cos the one manager who should of got a shot didn't That mans name Brian clough.

I think that it is good for the premiership to have classy foreign players. It ups the standards for our players and our youngsters and provides better entertainment.

However, I think that it becomes a problem when the likes of the lesser teams, Bolton, Portsmouth and Wigan etc.fill their teams with sub standard players in order to compete.

If it does affect our youngsters, then why are the English teams from all age groups, doing so well? Our u21's and under 19's teams are brilliant.

This is because of the outrageous prices wanted for good english playerse.g shaun wright-phillips,reo ferdinand, wayne rooney ect.Now dont get me wrong these are all good players but they are nowhere near worth the price that it would take to sign them.Players on the continent of the same quality would cost a fraction of the cost.Dont forget football is a business. After all would you pay twice the price for english apples when french ones are just as good?

well my club dont have that problem anymore (Aberdeen) i agree this is completely wrong these forgin players are only here for the money, the UK is way behind in terms of talent, the Scottish national team have suffered because of this but its starting to fix its self because the clubs are in debt and are forced to bring though there own homegrown talent, the English game will suffer too in the coming years there is hardly any young English talent coming though at English clubs because these forgin players are talking the starting poisons, i hope FIFA go ahead with the rule that clubs are only aloud 3 forgin players to start in the first 11, if this does not happen the Brittish game will suffer

i dont think the supporters of the premiership teams give a toss, if they did, i dont think they would bother going to matches, if you want my opinion, foreign players are sexy, im not dissing uk players, but foreign players are seriously fiiiiiiiine!!

I think you need to grow up, you sound and probably are a racist!!

because you cant win anything with kids according to alan hanson
or
in my view a lot of mangers are under pressure from day 1 to get results so they cant afford to invest in youth policy to develop english talent so a lot of good young english players are missed because managers go for experienced foriegn players who get payed to much but i blame the club for not giving thier manager time where would man utd be if they hadnt given sir alex time to build his side

because if it consisted of mainly english players england would have over 11 midfielders like gerrard and lampard 11 forvards like drogba and henry over 22 defenders like ferdinand and terry and 11 goalkeepers like chec
