I write poetry and short stories, and I keep them in journals. Several years back, I was in the process of moving and misplaced one of those journals. I STILL haven't found that book, and it has some of my best poetry in it from those years. So if anyone out there sees a blue journal with a silver unicorn on it, and the line by Joseph Joubert that says "you will find poetry nowhere unless you bring some with you" inside the front cover...it's mine, and I miss it! :)

My high school year ring..1970. Lost it while in the Navy. However, one time i was having a bonfire party and the next day found a year ring in the fire..seems we had thrown some paper garbage on the fire from an arcade. Some kid must have accidently dropped his ring in the trash there. I returned it to the high school and hope he recovered it. Made me feel better about losing mine!

My school days :(
I really wish I cud make a transition smehow to my past n get back to my school, to endless gossips, to sharing d lunchbox, cribbing abt homework, keeping a frnd's secret though all d while wanting to spill d beans, crying over a childhood crush when he left school, waiting patiently fr a word of appreciation or a simple "good" in d notebook by my favorite teacher....I miss all of tht, bt most of all I miss d uncomplicated nature of relationships tht we enjoyed in those days, when ppl were nt guided simply by selfish motives :(
